I am a BACP-accredited counsellor (MBACP Accred) providing a confidential, nurturing space for adults and young people (16+). Using a unique 5-pillar Integrative-IFS informed model, I support clients across the UK via online and phone sessions. I specialise in complex, multi-layered experiences including C-PTSD, Neurodiversity, and Sight Loss. My goal is to help you move from feeling overwhelmed to finding a renewed sense of balance and self-assurance.
About me and my practice
Are you carrying too much emotionally, physically, or mentally? I provide professional support to help you find stability when life feels overwhelming. While I work with a wide range of common challenges like anxiety, stress, and low mood, I specialise in supporting complex, multi-layered experiences:
* Complex Trauma (C-PTSD): Working toward recovery from past trauma and developing tools for emotional regulation. I use a specific unblending protocol to help you find space from overwhelming sensations and thoughts.
* Neurodiversity: Affirming support for ADHD and Autistic clients. Together, we can work on masking, burnout, and finding sustainable ways to thrive that actually fit your brain.
* Disability and Chronic Health: As someone living with a chronic health condition and sight loss, I understand the emotional impact of managing long-term conditions and navigating a world not always built for difference.
* Sight Loss: Providing compassionate support for navigating visual adjustments and the psychological burden of change.
How we work together:
My practice is built on a 5-pillar Integrative-IFS model (Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, TA, and Gestalt). This allows me to adapt to what you actually need, whether you are dealing with grief, relationship transitions, or identity. I offer a safe, inclusive, and culturally-attuned space where you can be your whole self.
Location and Accessibility:
I offer specialist telephone and online counselling across the UK. While I work nationwide, I am rooted in the West Midlands, supporting Sandwell, Birmingham, and the Black Country. My work draws on both professional training and lived experience to help you reconnect with your strengths.
Next Steps:
If you feel ready to take that next step, I'd love for you to book a free 20-minute discovery call with me. It is a chance for us to chat about what is going on for you and see if we are a good fit. You can book this directly through the platform.
Experience
Therapeutic Model and Clinical Framework
I am a trauma-informed, BACP-accredited integrative counsellor providing both brief and open-ended therapy. My practice is built on a specialized 5-pillar Integrative-IFS model which strategically combines:
* Person-Centred: Keeping your unique lived experience at the heart of our work.
* Psychodynamic: Exploring how early patterns and relationships influence your present.
* CBT: Providing practical tools for managing thoughts and behaviors.
* Transactional Analysis (TA): Understanding communication and relationship dynamics.
* Gestalt: Focusing on the "here and now" and the connection between mind and body.
By following a Somatic Pathway and maintaining IFS-Informed status, I help clients move beyond traditional talk therapy. We work together to find where sensations are held in the body, using a structured unblending protocol to help you step back from overwhelming parts of yourself and reconnect with your core Self-energy.
How We Can Work Together
I offer a steady, collaborative space where you can speak freely without pressure. My work is designed to support:
* Symptom Management: Short-term focus on anxiety, depression, stress, and rebuilding self-confidence.
* In-Depth Processing: Longer-term reflection on complex trauma (C-PTSD), attachment patterns, and identity.
* Specialist Support: I have extensive experience working with the emotional and psychological impact of Sight Loss, Chronic Health conditions, and Neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism).
I understand that physical health, disability, and mental well-being are deeply intertwined. Whether we are addressing burnout, grief, or the nuances of navigating a world not built for difference, my role is to provide a culturally affirming and grounded space.
My goal is for therapy to feel accessible and inclusive, helping you develop the clarity and resilience needed to move forward with a stronger, more balanced sense of self.
