I am an experienced psychodynamic counsellor and see couples and individual clients on a 1 to 1 basis. . Do you find you have a lot of people around you but no one you can talk to because you don't want them to worry? Or you may not have anyone around you who you can talk to. I can give you the time and space to talk about whatever is worrying you, and somewhere you will not be judged.
About me and my practice
The psychodynamic approach is derived from psychoanalysis but focusses on immediate problems to try and find a quicker solution. Together we think about these difficulties and how past experiences may have shaped current behaviour and reactions. I will listen, empathise, encourage and challenge a different way of thinking, and I will help you to see things from a different perspective. In time you will be able to be in control of things rather than being controlled by them.

Here we can discuss what is troubling you and will give us the opportunity to see whether we might be able to work together. We will then agree on a day and time and we can start the process.

I have been working as a Psychodynamic Counsellor for over 10 years and I am a registered member of the BACP, British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and as a member I am bound by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions and their Professional Conduct Procedure. Member number 250844
I currently see clients on a long term and a short term basis as an individual, couple or as part of the EAP programme.
I have regular supervision. I attend regular workshops.

Fees
Sessions are for 60 mins a week and £50 for an individual and £70 for a couple.
