My own journey gave me the confidence and passion to want to help others to have a fulfilling life. I am aware that the first step may be difficult, but please feel assured that I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential safe space.
About me and my practice
My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I use more than one therapeutic modality to suit each person's unique sense of self. I am a person-centred therapist at the core. However, I have special interest in Gestalt, Psychodynamic and cognitive behaviour therapy, as I believe that one therapeutic approach does not always suit different life experiences, genders, cultures,sexualities and different perspectives.
1 will work with you to unearth your subconscious actions, thoughts and behaviours. Working with you to help on any unhelpful beliefs you are struggling with. I will work with you to find new skills and helpful coping strategies. I work with depression, anxiety, sexuality, trauma, stress, abuse, bereavement, low self esteem, relationship and other issues.
Experience
I am able to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. I have experience with neurodiversity and working with young people and adults. As part of my journey I have worked in education and health and social care sector.
