About me and my practice
As a person-centred psychotherapist, I bring over ten years of experience in humanistic counselling to my practice. My professional journey spans a diverse Education, Learning and Development, and Health and Social Care background, with a specialised focus on supporting individuals across all age groups.
Throughout my career, a significant portion of my work has been dedicated to counselling survivors of abuse, specialising in Black and ethnic minority women and girls aged 11 and above who have endured domestic violence and abuse.
This focus has granted me invaluable insights and fostered a deep sense of empathy, enabling me to cultivate a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients embarking on their counselling journeys.
Holding a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling ensures a solid foundation in counselling theory and practice.
Additionally, as a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), I adhere to their ethical framework, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, humanism, and client-centred techniques aimed at facilitating self-discovery and personal growth. If you're ready to take the first step toward a happier, healthier life, I encourage you to reach out. My commitment is to provide a warm, genuine service, with a particular emphasis on supporting abuse survivors.
Together, we can work towards a brighter future, unburdened by the weight of the past. Your well-being is my utmost priority.
