I offer Counselling and Hypnotherapy sessions to clients online in the UK and face to face in south Wales. I have experience helping clients struggling with low self esteem, overcoming fears, and anxieties. Relationship issues, feeling lost or confused and people wanting a safe space to feel heard. I specialise in grief and loss.
About me and my practice
My practice is called SJC Therapy Ltd its a warm space for all 18+ individuals wanting a listening ear and someone to sit with them through their pain. I am a NCPS National Counselling and Psychotherapy society accredited Psychotherapist. I'm also a National Hypnotherapy Society accredited Hypnotherapist with three years experience. I specialise in offering counselling for grief loss and bereavement through volunteering for Cruse bereavement charity.
Experience
I have a history of working with clients at Mind Mental Health Charity where I worked with clients experiencing low mood, relationship issues and health stresses and LGBTQ+ clients. I enjoy providing a safe non judgemental space. I work in a person centred way integrating different therapy skills into the sessions depending on your preferences and needs.

Initial Consultation
In our initial consultation together we go over the contract and set our boundaries and understanding of what the sessions involve. In this session we both see if we can work effectively together over sessions. A big part of your consultation is talking about what you would like to achieve from sessions and how you would like our final sessions to ideally be like for you to feel you achieved what you intended from the sessions. The initial consultation is free and can last 50- 60 mins. After this session we go on to have sessions of counselling or Hypnotherapy together or a mix. Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly depending on your preference.
