About me and my practice
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my page and welcome.
I am Yana I am a warm and approachable individual. I offer a trusting therapeutic relationship working alongside you to support you in achieving contentment, confidence and personal growth.
My training was in Transactional Analysis an observable model of personality that explores and brings awareness of interactions between people and within the individual.
This enables choice, decisions and positive change to be made. It's an exciting tool that I use in my own life every day. It helps me to understand why I react in certain ways when I meet challenges and how I might respond in the here and now more appropriately.
Experience
My focus is centred on you as the client, and I will draw on a range of theoretical and practical training to best support you in overcoming your concerns.
I believe that we all have the ability to make changes but sometimes we think or behave in a way which prevents us from realising that potential, leaving us stuck, trapped or going round in circles. By exploring your patterned thoughts, feelings, behaviours, we can try to identify and shift the obstacles which are standing in your way.
In our work together you can recognise and remove stumbling blocks, as well as develop greater self awareness. I will accompany you and work with you to identify and manage the changes you want to make in your life. I can offer an opportunity to learn skills which will help you break out of old patterns and ways of being. These skills are rather like an emotional tool kit which you can take around with you for the rest of your life and which give you the freedom to make new choices, move forward and transform your life.

I offer a free initial phone or video call to see if we would feel comfortable working together. This lasts up to 30 minutes and you can ask any questions you may have about me or my approach.
