Thank you for being here. My name is Caroline and I am an integrative and holistic counsellor with a special interest in complex trauma and PTSD. I blend traditional talk therapy with somatic experiencing and body based approaches to help us address the root of your issues and help you get unstuck. My approach is gentle, warm and collaborative.
About me and my practice
I work holistically and somatically with a wide range of issues and specialise in helping people heal from complex trauma, chronic shame and anxiety. Whether you feel disconnected from your true self, feeling stuck in life, struggling with never feeling good enough, or simply longing for someone to truly listen... this space is for you.
Through gentle and compassionate therapy, my aim is to help you navigate difficult emotions, explore your inner world, and reconnect with your authentic self and your body in a way that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.
Sometimes talking alone isnt enough to create real change, especially when experiences have been held in the body, not just the mind, for a long time. That's why my approach blends traditional talking therapy with somatic and body-based practices, supporting both understanding and embodied emotional safety. My sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, goals and I work at a pace that feels right for you, always guided by your nervous system.
Together, we may draw on mindfulness, breath-work, somatic experiencing, inner child work, EFT tapping and other integrative approaches to gently support you in reconnecting with your body, while building the capacity to stay present with your emotions rather than becoming overwhelmed or shut down.
Qualifications
I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology & Counselling (First) and a MSc in Person-Centred Counselling (Dinstinction).
After qualifying I have undertaken further training and CPDs around working with complex trauma and shame and integrating trauma-informed practices such as mindfulness, somatic experiencing and polyvagal theory.

I understand how deeply trauma can shape the way you see yourself and the world, because Ive been there too. Healing isnt easy, and it can feel scary to let someone in. Thats why my work is grounded in safety, compassion and non-judgement, so you can show up openly and freely, as you truly are.

Fees
My fees are £50 per 50 minutes session. I offer a concessionary fee of £40 for students and those on low income.
