You already have what it takes to move forward. Sometimes you just need the right space to find it.
I'm Hanna, an accredited counsellor. I work with people who are ready to understand themselves more deeply whether that means processing past wounds, rebuilding confidence or creating practical change. Together we'll work at your pace, in a way that genuinely fits you.
About me and my practice
I offer two complementary approaches depending on what you need:
Person-Centred Counselling Open-ended, led entirely by you. A non-judgmental space to explore whatever feels most pressing, with room for reflection, emotional understanding, and lasting personal growth. No fixed agenda; just your experience, honoured.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) Future-focused and practical. Rather than dwelling on the past, we identify your strengths and what's already working, building concrete steps toward the change you want. Well-suited to specific challenges where you want clear, focused support.
Many clients move fluidly between both; deep healing and practical progress aren't opposites. I'll follow your lead.
I work from an intersectional perspective, meaning I recognise how race, gender, sexuality, class, ability, and identity all shape your lived experience. You won't need to explain yourself from scratch here. I also offer sessions in German.
Couples counselling sessions are longer than individual therapy, between 90 minutes and two hours, to give the relationship space. In that time we slow down, create room for both voices to be heard and begin to understand the patterns that have brought you to this point. Whether you are navigating a specific conflict, rebuilding trust or simply feeling disconnected, we work together to find a way forward that works for both of you. Individual sessions (also 90 minutes) within a couples process are an opportunity to go deeper, exploring your personal experience, needs and patterns without the relational dynamic in the room. Both formats are part of the same journey and we'll decide together what mix works best for you.
Ready to take the first step? I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation a relaxed conversation to explore what you need and whether we're a good fit. Reach out by email anytime.
Experience
Since 2017 I've worked with people from all walks of life, navigating change, recovering from trauma, rebuilding after abuse, managing anxiety and depression, and finding their footing after microaggressions, bullying and marginalisation. What many of my clients share is some experience of being unseen, unheard, or pushed to the edges. I take that seriously.
I believe in working intersectionally, holding the full complexity of who you are, not just the presenting issue. Your identity isn't separate from your struggle; it's central to understanding it and to finding your way through.
I'm committed to ongoing learning and professional development, so that the support I offer is always thoughtful, current, and genuinely effective.
