Many of us learned early in life that love and acceptance are conditional. We learned that we had to hide and push down parts of us in order to stay wanted. Whether you're carrying this burden alone or feeling it between you and someone you love, I can help you find safety in being seen and known.
About me and my practice
I became a counsellor because I know what it's like to carry the weight of early experiences into adult life. To find yourself repeating patterns you don't fully understand, or struggling to feel truly secure in the relationships that matter most. My lived experience is at the heart of how I work.
I work with individuals aged 16+ and with couples and relationships of all kinds. Whether you're navigating something alone or together, my approach is human and unhurried. I don't expect you to show up with all the answers or even know how to do therapy right. We'll start where you are and figure out the rest together.
I am an Integrative-Relational counsellor, which means I draw from a range of approaches and adjust how I work around you, rather than making you fit a mould that wasn't made for you. Underpinning everything is a person-centred commitment to you as a whole person, worthy of unconditional care exactly as you are.
I work with themes of trauma, neurodivergence, anxiety, identity, self-worth, relationships and parenting. My practice is neurodivergent affirming and trauma aware, and I welcome people from all walks of life, backgrounds and relationship structures.
Experience
I hold a BA (Hons) in Integrative-Relational Counselling and a COSRT Accredited Level 5 Diploma in Couples and Relationship Therapy.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and committed to their ethical framework.
My additional training includes:
Embodiment Practices for Relational Trauma, Supporting and Working with Birth Trauma, Trauma's Role in Parent-Child Dynamics, Turning Trauma Shame into Self-Compassion, Somatic Resourcing for Trauma, and Working with Narcissism.
I am committed to ongoing professional development because the field keeps growing, and so do I.

Initial Consultation
Taking the first step can feel daunting, maybe you haven't talked about counselling with the people in your life yet, or you're not sure where to start.
The initial consultation is a free call and there's no pressure for anything more. It's simply a chance for us to meet, for you to ask questions, share a little about what has brought you here and your hopes for how I might help. We'll also make sure I have the right skills and knowledge to support you.
There's no pressure to make a decision before the end of the call. You're welcome to take some time and get back to me when you're ready.
It's just a small step on a longer journey, get in touch and let's see if I'm the right person to join you on it.
