I offer a flexible approach tailored to your needs. If you require a safe space to process deep-seated wounds, my trauma-informed, person-centred work ensures you are heard and supported at your own pace. If you feel ready to tackle specific hurdles, we can pivot to Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to build practical strategies for change. Together, well bridge the gap between healing from the past and thriving in your future.
About me and my practice
My name is Hanna. I believe in your potential for growth and that building a therapeutic relationship will support you in finding your path.
Whether you are navigating past wounds or seeking practical tools for the future, we will work at your pace to foster resilience and healing. You dont have to carry the weight alone.
Solution-focused brief therapy is a short-term, goal-oriented approach. It focuses on your strengths, resources, and what is already working, helping you identify practical steps towards change. Rather than exploring the past in depth, sessions are future-focused and time-limited, making this approach well suited to specific issues or situations where you want focused support.
Person-centred, open-ended counselling offers a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels important to you, at your own pace. Sessions are led by your needs rather than a fixed agenda, allowing time for reflection, emotional understanding, and personal growth. This approach is open-ended, meaning the length of counselling is guided by you and what feels helpful.
Experience
I'm working with clients since 2017 with people from all walks of life and a wide range of issues; be it navigating change or personal growth, experiencing anxiety or depression, facing bullying or feeling exhausted by microaggressions. What my clients have in common is that they experienced some form of marginalisation and abuse. I believe in the importance of working intersectional, which means that I recognise how various aspects of my clients identity such as race, gender, sexuality, class, ability interact to shape their experience of oppression and privilege.
I'm always learning and developing as a counsellor, taking part in ongoing training and reflection to make sure the support I offer is both caring and effective.
