I believe that everybody has the potential to grow and heal, given the right conditions. That belief sits at the heart of how I work. I don't see therapy as something I do to a client. I see it as a relationship we co-create together, session by session. That relationship, built on trust, respect, and genuine presence, is the therapy.
About me and my practice
Over my nine years of working as a counsellor, I've noticed that queer and neurodivergent people tend to find their way to me. I think that's because I understand, from both lived experience and clinical practice, what it's like to move through the world feeling different.
I also work extensively with survivors of childhood abuse, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. This is careful, often slow work, and I hold it with the seriousness and compassion it deserves.
My practice is:
LGBTQ+ friendly I'm queer myself, and I bring an intersectional lens to everything I do
Neurodivergent friendly your way of thinking and experiencing the world is welcome here, not something to fix
Trauma-informed with particular experience supporting survivors of abuse and marginalisation
I believe in working intersectionally, holding the full complexity of who you are, not just the presenting issue. Your identity isn't separate from your struggle; it's central to understanding it and to finding your way through.

Experience
Since 2017 I've worked with people from all walks of life, navigating change, recovering from trauma, rebuilding after abuse, managing anxiety and depression, and finding their footing after microaggressions, bullying and marginalisation.
I'm committed to ongoing learning and professional development, so that the support I offer is always thoughtful, current, and genuinely effective.
