I am qualified MBACP Psychotherapist with over 10 years' experience working as a Counsellor. I offer a gentle reassuring service for those who are experiencing difficult emotional issues in their life. Perhaps from a recent or past traumatic event or a long-standing battle with anxiety, low moods or simply feeling burnt out.
Inevitably, all of us will at some time experience difficult emotional patches, at times like this the presence of a sympathetic ear is welcomed.
About me and my practice
I have a special interest and expertise in working with women who have experienced abuse, and with young adults and educators who face stress and pressure in their personal and professional lives. I use a person-centred approach that integrates other modalities to meet the unique and individual needs of each client. I offer online and telephone sessions.
My mission is to empower clients to live well and achieve their goals, by providing a safe, supportive, and confidential space for them to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviours.
You will be given a safe, non-judgemental, strictly confidential space to explore issues that are causing you distress. Together in a way that is comfortable for you we will explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions to understand your triggers, where they come from so you can move past them.
I work face to face and remotely so location is not an issue, I can offer video calls and Telephone sessions.
Experience
As a psychotherapist in private practice, I have over 10 years of experience in supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and with various presenting issues. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a diploma in transpersonal psychotherapy from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE).
